This is the homepage of the Worcester Life Stories project which launched as a collaborative project in 2020, co-led by Worcester City Council’s Historic Environment Record and the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care Trust, with funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. While the funded project came to an end in 2023, two key web resources were produced that continue to support the objectives of the original project.

Life Stories Herefordshire & Worcestershire enables you to create your own personalised digital life story, where you can capture family history & what is important to you in an easily accessible & intuitive way. It also provides a number of reminiscence materials in the form of Life Packs.

Know Your Place Worcester is a digital heritage mapping resource to help you to explore your area online. It provides access to historic maps, photographs and thousands of historic records held by the Worcester City Historic Environment Record, and enables you to contribute your own knowledge and images.
